A native New Yorker, Felicia Garcia Rivera grew up with the diverse and multicultural fashion influences of New York City.
From an early age, Felicia developed an interest in the arts, regularly visiting the galleries of Soho and Chelsea since childhood.
She went on to study Fine Art and Art History at Wesleyan University, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree before diving into the fashion world.
Felicia assisted famed fashion editor Edward Enninful first at US Vogue and later followed him to the Art and Fashion publication, W magazine, where she served as associate Fashion Editor.
Her formal Fine Art training in painting and printmaking has been informing her work from the onset.
This is reflected in her interest in the interplay between the more formal beauty of color and composition in fashion imagery, and the cultural contextualization present in the narrative of fashion story telling.
Felicia is currently focused on working with and propelling brands who are committed to driving the fashion industry forward through sustainable practices and which values are rooted in the furthering of inclusion and diversity.
Felicia collaborates with a diverse array of art and fashion photographers, from the up and coming to the established,
Including Karim Sadli, Walter Pfeifer, Juergen Teller, Charlotte Wales, Sharif Hamza, Michael James Fox and Tina Tyrell.
Her work has appeared in W, Vogue, British Vogue, Teen Vogue, Vogue Mexico, Vogue Ukraine, Vogue Arabia, SSAW, Buffalo Zine and Modern Weekly China.
